Memphis will get two nonstop flights daily to Toronto starting May 17, Air Canada announced Wednesday.

Memphis International Airport is one of seven U.S. airports that will gain new service as Air Canada expands offerings.

The route will be flown by an Air Canada Jazz CRJ, a 75-seat plane.
Northwest Airlines previously offered Memphis-Toronto service, which was eliminated by Delta several months ago.

Other destinations adding service are Orange County (Santa Ana) and San Diego, Calif.; Portland, Ore.; Portland, Maine; Cincinnati; and Syracuse, N.Y.
