United Parcel Service (UPS) has negotiated a lease with the Airport Authority for 1,171,586 square feet of Airport property for an expansion of its sorting and outbound freight facility. The lease will include an option for an additional 1,025,317 square feet of space. The cargo airline currently occupies 3.9 million square feet on the east side of the airfield. Detailed facility design will occur following final execution of the lease.
