FedEx Express’ First Boeing 777 Freighter Arrives in Memphis

International express shipping just got even faster with the arrival of FedEx Express’ first Boeing 777 Freighter (777F) in Memphis. The 777F has a flight range of 6,675 land miles, which is the longest of any two-engine freighter, with a payload capacity of 215,000 pounds. New International Departure Gate Area Enhances Customer Experience

Delta Air Lines has enhanced the boarding process for its Memphis to Amsterdam flight by redesigning the layout of its International Departure gates B39/B41/B43. Memphis International Gives World War II Veterans Star-Spangled Sendoff

The wishes of 26 local World War II veterans ages 83-90 came true on Friday, October 3 when they flew from Memphis International Airport to Washington, DC to visit the WWII Memorial. Wheelchair Taxicab Available at Airport

A wheelchair accessible taxicab is now available from the Airport through Yellow Cab Co. Air travelers can request this taxicab from the Airport’s Taxi Starter. There’s no extra charge. This expands the number of choices customers have for wheelchair accessible transportation service at Memphis International Airport.
